What is Zuno?
In Japanese, zunō (頭脳) means brain or intellect — the mental capacity that drives decisions, not just the physical organ. We named our platform Zuno because our goal is to become the brain for your car.
Zuno started as a mobile car valeting platform, connecting customers with trusted local valeters who clean cars on driveways. But cleaning is just the beginning. We are building toward a future where managing your vehicle — from cleaning and maintenance to insurance and resale — is effortless, affordable, and fully transparent.
Our Story
Zuno was founded by Robert Jarrett, who started out as a mobile car valeter working across Berkshire and Surrey. After spending time on the ground — knocking on doors, cleaning cars, and building a customer base from scratch — he saw an opportunity to build something bigger: a platform that connects customers with quality-assured valeters while removing the friction of finding, booking, and paying for vehicle care.
Zuno launched in March 2026 and is currently serving customers across Berkshire and Surrey.

Quality you can trust
Every operative on the Zuno platform has their identity and right to work checked by Zuno, holds their own public liability and Care, Custody and Control insurance, and is reviewed by real customers. We are building automated systems to monitor quality and act on feedback so that standards are maintained as we grow.
Affordable with scale
As more customers and operatives join, we can reduce costs for everyone. Our goal is to make regular vehicle cleaning and maintenance more affordable than doing it yourself — not through cutting corners, but through efficiency.
Maximising your car's value
A well-maintained vehicle holds its value. We want to help owners protect their investment through regular care and, in the future, through tools that track vehicle health, service history, and optimal timing for resale.
Fair to the people who do the work
Operatives on the Zuno platform are independent professionals, not employees. They set their own hours, keep their own clients, and earn a fair payout for every job. We take approximately 20% of the customer price as commission, lower than most competitors, and we plan to reduce it further for our most loyal operatives over time.
Where We're Going
Zuno is more than a cleaning marketplace. We are working toward becoming a vehicle operating system — a single platform that makes car ownership effortless and efficient. We believe the future of vehicle care is proactive, not reactive, and that owners deserve better tools, better transparency, and better value.
We are currently expanding across the South East of England with plans to cover 6+ counties by 2027.
