A standard Zuno job follows the same shape: arrive in window, run the pre-job checks, do the work, take photos, mark complete in the app. Most of this is common sense once you've done one. The Operative Guide (in your profile dropdown) is the canonical reference — this page is the friendly intro.
Arrival
Arrive within the booking time window the customer selected. If you're running noticeably late, email [email protected]. We'd rather know early than have the customer wondering. The booking address is shown on your Active Jobs card on the dashboard.
Before you start: pre-job checks
The Operative Guide section B lists these in full. The short version:
- Right vehicle. Cross-check the registration on the booking card against the vehicle on the driveway. Don't start work on the wrong car.
- Access. Is the vehicle unlocked or are keys available? Is the area safe to work in?
- Water and power. If the customer confirmed they'd provide either, check the tap and socket are within the 15-metre reach we tell them about. If you bring your own (tank + battery / generator), confirm you have what you need.
- Vehicle condition. A quick visual. Is anything about the vehicle's state going to stop you doing a normal job?
If a pre-job check fails — vehicle isn't there, can't access it, condition makes the work unsafe — you have No Access or Out of Scope as proper exits. Don't try to push through; see the dedicated article on which one applies.
Doing the work
Follow the service the customer booked. Outer is the exterior, Inner is the interior, and Whole is both in one visit. The customer's booking card tells you which one, and the What To Do panel on the job lists exactly what that service is expected to deliver.
Equipment, products and technique are your own, and you set the bar. Zuno's expectation is a competent professional clean to the service the customer paid for.
Photos and marking complete
When you finish, take a few photos of the finished work and upload them through the app's Complete flow. The photos serve as evidence if the customer queries anything later, and they're how we close out the booking on our side.
Press Mark Complete when you're done. The customer is automatically emailed with a confirmation and a link to view the photos and leave a rating.
What if something goes wrong during the work
If you accidentally damage something — a wheel arch scratch, a broken interior trim, anything that's clearly on you — flag it in the app immediately and contact support. Honesty up front is always better than a customer raising it later as a dispute. Your insurance covers genuine accidents (this is why Care, Custody and Control matters so much) and Zuno's role is to mediate the resolution fairly.
After you mark complete
The booking moves into your Wallet's pending earnings. The exact payout timing is covered in the separate "Getting paid" article. You don't have to chase anything — the system handles funds settlement and the release of your payout automatically.
